Who We Are
AmpiFire helps businesses get hyper-targeted traffic by posting content everywhere. The content is automatically published on hundreds of websites and platforms such as X/Twitter, YouTube, Google News, Apple Podcasts, etc.
We're a 60-person company that's been bootstrapped and profitable since day one. Our managed service line is growing rapidly, and we need someone who can consistently fill our pipeline with qualified opportunities.
About the Role
As our Sales Development Representative, your job is to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executive team.
Here's what that actually means day-to-day:
Your main activities:
- Making outbound calls to business owners and marketing decision-makers (15-20+ calls per hour during active calling time)
- Driving prospects to one of two revenue-driving solutions,
- For smaller businesses: Directing prospects to our Startup program (and receive commissions for deals sold here)
- For larger businesses: Booking a call with prospects to speak to our account executives
- Sending personalized emails and LinkedIn messages to prospects
- Researching prospects to understand their business and personalize your approach
- Qualifying leads based on budget, need, timeline, and decision-making authority
- Booking meetings for our sales team with prospects who are genuinely interested, and fit our ideal client profiles
- Keeping accurate records in our CRM system
Your success is measured by:
- Number of qualified meetings booked per month (target: 8-12+)
- Quality of appointments (prospects who show up and meet qualification criteria)
- Driving an 80% show rate on initial sales calls (by engaging prospects)
- Daily activity levels (calls made, emails sent, LinkedIn touches)
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain clean and accurate information with consistent follow ups

- Our HubSpot CRM
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospect research
- Phone and email for outreach
- Sales engagement tools for tracking and automation
This is an outbound prospecting role. You won't be closing deals - you're opening doors and setting up our closers for success.

What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
B2B sales experience: You've done cold calling and appointment setting before. You have a track record of hitting activity and booking targets. If you're brand new to sales, this isn't the right role.
Excellent English communication: Native or near-native fluency - you can have natural, professional conversations with North American business owners without language barriers.
Multi-channel prospecting: You're comfortable using phone, email, and LinkedIn to reach prospects. You know how to personalize outreach and don't just blast the same message to everyone.
CRM proficiency: You've used Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems to track prospects and manage your pipeline.
Self-management: You can work independently in a remote environment, stay productive without supervision, and manage your own schedule.
Coachable: You take feedback well, implement suggestions, and continuously work to improve your approach.
Availability: You can work core EST/PST business hours to align with our North American client base.
Preferred Background
- Experience selling to marketing decision-makers or CMOs
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS or marketing services
- Experience with sales engagement platforms (Outreach.io, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, etc.)
- Background in content marketing or digital marketing
Compensation & Structure
Base Salary: $2,000 - $2,500 USD per month
Your exact base depends on your experience level and interview performance. We pay in USD regardless of your location.
Performance Bonuses: Additional commission for qualified appointments booked that meet our criteria and show up for meetings.
Employment Type: This is a fully remote contract position. You're responsible for your own taxes and benefits. We recommend budgeting accordingly and consulting with a tax professional in your country.
Location: We're ideally looking for candidates whose working hours can align with EST/PST time zones.
Our Hiring Process
We've designed this to be efficient while giving both sides enough information to make the right decision.
Total time commitment: Under 5 hours
Timeline: Typically under 30 days from application to offer
The stages:
- Application: Answer a few questions and submit a brief intro video
- Assessment: Complete a short assignment that shows us how you think about prospecting
- Interview 1: Video call with Billy (Director of Sales) to discuss your experience and the role
- Interview 2: Video call with Chris (CEO) to ensure cultural fit and alignment
- Offer: If we're a mutual fit, we'll send an offer to join the team
We may adjust this process if needed, but only to ensure we're making the right decision for both sides.
