Since our start in 2014, AmpiFire (and before that, PressCable) has been aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. Over the last couple of years, we've revamped our ops and product to serve this segment as well as possible. The clients are happy, the churn is way down, and our latest launch beat all of the company records.
Now we need someone who can help us execute flawlessly behind the scenes.
That's why we want you to join AmpiFire as an Operations Associate.
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone with operational experience who thrives on variety and wants to be the reliable support that helps everything run smoothly in a growth-oriented environment where obsessive attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are highly valued.
As our Operations Associate, you'll be essential in ensuring the seamless execution of our promotional operations, training, webinars, and social media campaigns. You will be responsible for supporting our creative team, managing information and checklists, tracking key metrics, and collaborating across teams to ensure that projects are completed on time.
Here's what that looks like day-to-day:
Operational Support: Assist in the planning and execution of daily operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and effectively
Project Coordination: Create, track, follow up, and ensure completion of key tasks to keep projects on schedule
Video & Event Support: Set up and oversee webinars and online events, providing technical and logistical support as needed
Document Management: Maintain and update relevant company pages and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for operational activities
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and propose solutions for increased efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including our creative team, to ensure smooth inter-departmental operations and communication
Social Media Campaign Support: Support the execution of social media campaigns by managing checklists, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time
Inbox & Calendar Management: Manage emails and calendars of senior managers, ensuring efficient scheduling, timely responses, and effective prioritization of tasks
Metrics Tracking: Track key operational and project metrics to ensure we meet our goals and identify areas for improvement
Your work will provide the reliable support that allows our team to focus on growth while knowing that the operational execution is dependable and thorough.
6 Reasons to Join AmpiFire as an Operations Associate
1. Master Operational Excellence in a Growth Environment
This role provides the perfect opportunity to develop your operational skills in a dynamic environment where your contributions matter. You'll gain hands-on experience in project coordination, event management, executive support, and cross-functional collaboration that will set you apart in your career. You'll work alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.
2. Work Remotely and Set Your Own Schedule
We've been firm believers in remote-first teams since our start. Why sit in traffic or a noisy office when you can work just as effectively from anywhere in the world?
While our team is distributed globally, our operations require coordination with North American time zones. This role requires working hours that align with the EST/PST time zones to effectively support our live events and executive schedules.
3. Help the "Underdog"
Small businesses are the heart of our society. They're more enjoyable to work for, tend to be more ethical, and make up half of the economy.
Normally, big businesses dominate the marketplace. Their advantage in exposure and reach is just unfair. That's why we decided to throw our hat in the ring, disrupt the status quo, and help the little guy.
4. Long-Term Stability Over Short-Term
We've been bootstrapped since day 1, and we're not seeking outside funding.
For us, smart growth and happy clients will always beat flash-in-the-pan metrics investors often care about.
Our company is built on what we truly believe is the right thing to do in the long term. If that's how you think too, you'll feel at home here.
5. We're Just the Right Size
At just 60 employees, we're not so big that your contribution gets lost in the shuffle. We all take ownership of our work and things never get stale.
At the same time, we're not so small that we don't have enough momentum. You'll always have plenty of resources at your disposal, and you'll be joining a team with proven success.
6. Strong Company Culture Built on Our Core Values
Our culture is built on transparency, collaboration, and continuous growth. We celebrate wins together and support each other through challenges. You'll be part of a team that embodies being Humble, Constructive, Reflective, Having Integrity, Being Motivated to Learn, Smart & Getting Things Done. These aren't just words on a wall—they guide how we work together every day.
What We Expect From You
You have a proactive attitude that drives you to identify and address issues without waiting for direction—you anticipate needs rather than reacting to problems.
You possess excellent organizational abilities that allow you to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while maintaining obsessive attention to detail, ensuring precision in all operational processes and documentation.
You have effective problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and find solutions under pressure.
You excel at both verbal and written communication, enabling effective collaboration across departments and clear reporting to your manager.
You're tech-savvy and proficient with common office software and data management tools. Knowledge of AEvent, Zoom Events, HubSpot, or Ongage would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
You have prior experience in an operations role and understand what it takes to keep complex processes running smoothly.
This role is perfect for someone ready to take their operational skills to the next level while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Compensation
The starting salary for this position ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 USD/month (full time), based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with specialized skills in HubSpot, advanced event management platforms, or executive support experience may qualify for higher compensation above this range.
This is a fully-remote contract position—you can work from anywhere! However, we are ideally looking for a candidate whose core work hours are during PST & EST time to match our live event schedule and executive support needs.
Ready to Make an Impact?
This role requires someone who takes pride in excellent execution and reliability. You'll be supporting multiple teams and projects simultaneously, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks while maintaining the high standards our growing company depends on.
If you're ready to develop your operational skills while making meaningful contributions through meticulous execution and proactive support, we'd love to hear from you.
We hope you'll join our team!
Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are only able to provide individual feedback to candidates who progress beyond the initial screening stage.
